We do our best to get the bonus patterns posted shortly after the magazine goes on sale each year. Sometimes it takes a little extra time if corrections are needed during the proofing process. All patterns should be posted by the start of the Shop Hop.

Secret GardenLucy Blum – Lucy Blum Quilts
Lucy’s lifelong love of sewing, sparked by her mother and grandmother, blossomed into a quilting journey in 2016. She is now a vibrant part of the quilting community as a skilled instructor, pattern designer, and tech editor. Wings on the PrairieLydia Sorenson – Homespun Quilts & Yarn
Lydia Sorenson likes to tease that she started quilting against her will after taking a beginning quilt making class with a friend. Since then, she’s become a quilt shop owner, helping to solve problems, utilizing her innate creativity and helping people at the same time. Designing block patterns was her path, a natural extension, to quilt design. Outside the shop Lydia loves to garden or read or work on other crafts. She also participates in sailboat races, with her husband, on the Columbia River.
Lavender FieldsTammy Hermann – Sew So Cozy Designs
Tammy learned to quilt as a young child from her grandmother. However, family life and a career as an executive in the tech industry meant that for decades there was no time for quilting. Tammy is now retired and bringing her high tech skills forward fulltime for quilting and quilt design. Tammy is a Riley Blake Maker for their batiks collection and teaches classes at a quilt shop in New Braunfels, TX.
